Reed Group is a pioneer in the field of identifying, preventing and managing employee absence. The company was founded in 1981 by Presley Reed, MD to address absenteeism and productivity issues in the workplace.

Reed Group has researched and published the definitive return-to-work reference tool since 1991. Formerly known as The Medical Disability Advisor, MDGuidelines is now in its Sixth Edition and is used by over 22,000 case managers and health care providers in 38 countries in their day-to-day operations.

Reed Group has provided medical disability management and other leave of absence services to its clients since 1993, and FMLA administration services since 1997. More than one million covered lives are managed by Reed Group's cost-effective administration services.

Reed Group also offers absence management software that incorporates the MDGuidelines content, data analytics, and an intuitive user interface.

Reed Group is headquartered in Westminster, CO, and has two service centers in Colorado and New York.
